The Venue Improvement Grants feature 200 grants of $5,000 each to allow eligible South Australian venues to upgrade so they can cater for live music performances.
Hosting a live music performance has certain requirements when it comes to venues, layouts and equipment.
This could be modifications to layouts to allow for a small stage, creating a better viewing experience for audiences or even upgrading sound systems and speakers.
Venues that host any music genre are welcome to apply, including original music, DJs, tributes and cover material if there is demonstrated support or intent to support the delivery of live music.
Venue Improvement Grants are now fully subscribed and applications are closed.
