COVID-19 restrictions easing: Key dates for South Australians

Monday, 15 June 2020

The State Government is continuing to review the rules guiding business owners through COVID-19, with restrictions to ease over the coming months.

Here are some key dates in South Australia’s Roadmap to Recovery:
Friday, 19 June: The maximum number of people allowed in any given space will increase from 20 to 75 people; with a total venue capacity of 300 people permitted. However, venues must still respect the one person per 4sqm rule.
Monday, 29 June: Marks the third and final stage of business restrictions lifting in South Australia. Current limits on the number of patrons will be replaced with the one person per 4sqm principle.
Monday, 20 July: State border restrictions currently in place will cease, and South Australia will welcome back interstate visitors and tourists without a quarantine requirement. Those returning from overseas will still be required to self-isolate.
