Weddings and other private functions in South Australia are allowed to have dancing for up to 50 people as part of more relaxed COVID-19 restrictions.
From 12.01am on Thursday, 23 September, up to 50 people can be dancing at a private function or a private activity at a non-residential premises, with a maximum attendance of 150 people. There is no requirement for masks to be worn when dancing. The maximum amount of people in a home is 20 people.
Standing consumption of food or drinks has also been reinstated at outdoor areas of any venues, including pubs with a density requirement of one person per two square metres.The density requirement when seated remains unchanged at three persons per four square metres.
