Primary producers and small businesses impacted by the 2019-20 bushfires will not only benefit from expanded eligibility for the $75,000 disaster recovery grant, but will also have more time to apply for assistance.
Application timeframes have now been extended to December 2020 in recognition of the impacts on primary producers of the convergence of drought, bushfires and COVID-19 in a short period of time. Timeframes have also been extended for other small business bushfire recovery grants and loans.
