The Women in Business Program is tailored to the specific challenges women face when starting, running and growing businesses.
The South Australian Government is committed to creating a business environment in which gender has no bearing on the opportunities available.
Research shows women in business face different and additional barriers than men in business, which potentially impacts the number of women who choose to start their own businesses and how women may be able to run and grow your businesses.
The Women in Business Program is designed to give entrepreneurial-minded women every opportunity to pursue our goals, leading to a more diverse and inclusive business community.
Running over four years, there are two current programs and one partnership underway:.
The Women in Business Foundations Program
Delivered by Adelaide Business Hub, this program is building the capability and skills of more than 390 women in their formative stages of their business journey.
The Women in Business Advisory Program
Delivered by behind closed doors, this program is providing women who lead early-stage and high growth businesses with insights and understanding to establish best practice governance, strategic planning, and balanced advisory boards.
