The Women in Business Program is tailored to the specific challenges women face when starting, operating and growing businesses.
The South Australian Government is committed to creating a state in which gender has no bearing on the opportunities available to our citizens.
Women in business face different and additional barriers than their male counterparts, which potentially impacts the number of women who choose to start their own businesses. Our Women in Business Program is tailored to the specific challenges women face in starting, operating and growing businesses.
Running over four years, the program will consist of two key elements.
The Women in Business Foundations Program
Partnering with Adelaide Business Hub, this program will deliver capability and skills development opportunities to women in their formative stages of their business journey.
The Women in Business Advisory Program
Partnering with behind closed doors, this program will equip women leading early-stage and high growth businesses with insights and understanding to establish best practice governance, strategic planning, and balanced advisory boards.
We will also be partnering with the Port Adelaide Football Club and the HERstory: Business Collective Program to will deliver professional development and mentoring to women in business.
