Sustainability support for Small Business

The Small Business Sustainability Support Program helps small and family businesses improve sustainability, reduce emissions and lower operating costs.

Delivered by 2XE, the program offers practical support to help you understand your environmental impact, improve efficiency and identify changes that can support your business over time. As supply chains, customer expectations and market requirements continue to shift, taking action now can help your business stay competitive and plan for the future.

Book a one-on-one consultation

If you’re ready to explore what sustainability could look like for your business, you can book a one‑on‑one consultation with a 2XE sustainability advisor to review your operations and identify practical opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce emissions and lower costs.

In a one‑on‑one session you will:

  • Explore the sustainability challenges and opportunities specific to your business
  • Identify practical actions you can take based on your current operations
  • Learn how to access and interpret data related to energy use and emissions
  • Assess your current sustainability position and identify areas for improvement
  • Receive tailored recommendations to help you implement emission‑reduction strategies or reduce sustainability risks.

Sustainability assessment

After completing the one-on-one consultation, eligible businesses can access a Business Sustainability Assessment at a subsidised cost of $500 (ex GST).

This assessment will help you identify actions to reduce carbon emissions and understand the return on investment, so you can make informed decisions for your business and plan your next steps with confidence.
