Under the whole of government “Easy to do Business” Council the Department of the Premier and Cabinet will lead the following key objectives:

  • Improve the customer experience for people interacting with the South Australian Government

South Australia's 145,700 small businesses form the backbone of our economy and are key drivers of the state's growth and employment.

Department for Innovation and Skills

The Department for Innovation and Skills is responsible for supporting South Australia’s future economy, creating prosperity and opportunity for the people that choose to live and work in our state.

The Office of the Small Business Commissioner helps business operators manage their affairs and resolve disputes.

Office of the Industry Advocate

The Industry Advocate works with industry and government to generate business and jobs through major government projects.
