AI Capability Pilot Program

Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the way we work, helping businesses save time, boost productivity and make smarter decisions.

The AI Capability Pilot Program will equip South Australian small and family businesses with less than 20 FTEs with the tools, skills and confidence to integrate AI solutions into their operations.

Delivered by simplefy.ai, the program provides practical, cost-effective and tailored support to help businesses overcome common barriers to AI adoption such as cost, time and capability, while building confidence to use AI and cyber tools safely and ethically to unlock real business outcomes.

4 hours (Group delivery)

This hands-on session equips business owners and teams with the practical skills, confidence and guided support needed to begin adopting AI safely.

Participants will:

• Build a working AI agent or workflow
• Learn best-practice prompting and context-engineering techniques
• Apply governance foundations, privacy and cyber basics
• Explore safe and appropriate AI use within business operations
• Identify AI activation opportunities specific to their business.

Co-contribution: $50 per participant

5 hours (One-on-one delivery)

Following the Build Day, each business receives tailored coaching across 2-3 sessions focused on their specific needs.

Coaching may include:

• AI strategy refinement
• Workflow and process redesign using AI
• Agent and automation design
• Governance uplift and vendor selection
• Team adoption and change-management support.

Co-contribution: $100 per participant

Participants will receive six months of ongoing support through the simplefy.ai Slack online community and AI resource hub to reinforce skills beyond initial build and coaching sessions, provide guidance and maintain momentum.
