2022 South Australian Training Awards finalists announced

The finalists for the 2022 South Australian Training Awards (SATA) – presented by the South Australian Skills Commission have been revealed.

The work of these finalists and their advocacy for vocational education and training (VET) showcase the commitment, quality and innovation taking place in the state’s VET sector.

The winners of this year’s awards will be announced at the SATA celebration event, which is set to take place on 25 August at the Adelaide Convention Centre and coinciding with National Skills Week, supported by Principal Partner Sponsor MEGT and Gold Sponsor Mas.

These awards showcase some of the best examples of vocational education and training here in South Australia and will hopefully inspire the next generation of individuals and businesses to grasp the many and varied opportunities a VET pathway can bring.

11 awards will be presented at this year’s recognition event – six for individuals and five for organisations – as well as the Voters’ Choice Award, presented to the public’s favourite individual finalist.

A further spotlight will also be put on the South Australian training sector when the state hosts the Australian Training Awards, the peak national awards showcasing excellence and best practice in VET, on 18 November at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Winners from each state and territory (in aligned categories) have the opportunity to compete for a national award title.
