Meet Dan Measey from Unearthed Australian Opal

Dan approached Small Business Fundamentals Program partner, Regional Development Australia Far North, to strengthen his knowledge in strategic planning and explore new opportunities to grow the business.

"As the business evolved, I recognised the need for strategic planning to capitalise on new market opportunities I was keen to explore so developing a plan to structure the business was critical,” Dan said.

The program’s collaborative approach provided him with expert advice, tools, and resources to develop a clear strategic plan.

“Through the program, I gained a holistic view of the business, allowing me to identify key actions, set targets, and explore new opportunities for growth and operational improvements.”

Looking ahead, Dan now aims to build on the key areas identified through the program, continuously testing and measuring progress to achieve future goals.
