Advisory services available for small businesses to digitalise
The Australian Government’s Digital Solutions – Australian Small Business Advisory Services program is now open for small businesses seeking to make the most from digital tools and online services.
The program, which costs $44, provides small businesses with access to a seven-hour packaged service that offers three hours of one-on-one tailored support as well as group workshops or webinars.
Digital Solutions advisers hold formal qualifications in business or information technology related disciplines and have at least two years’ experience.
The ability to operate online is essential for small businesses in a post‑lockdown economy, where more Australians are turning to the convenience and safety of shopping from home.
Round Two of funding is now open to advisory service providers
The latest round of funding for the Digital Solutions – Australian Small Business Advisory Services Program has now opened, which provides grants to advisory service providers.
The funding, will help support small businesses adapt and build resilience through digital technology.
The new round will give even more small businesses access to advice to digitalise.
Grants are being offered in every state and territory, so that small businesses wanting to get online can access high quality, independent advice at low cost, regardless of where they are.
Funding is available to business advisory service providers to deliver digitalisation advice for three years from April 2023. These grants are available through a competitive funding round, each corresponding with a defined geographical coverage area.
