Leeann Ellison, Managing Director of HealthCare Connected, thought she was cyber-aware. But after opening a seemingly harmless PDF attachment, cybercriminals gained access to her email account. Over two months, they monitored her inbox, then used her identity to send fraudulent invoices to clients, resulting in financial loss and a breach of trust.
