Want to share South Australia’s natural landscapes, rich cultural history and stunning wildlife with local and international visitors?
Applications for round three of the $2 million Experience Nature Tourism Fund are now open.
Grants of between $10,000 to $50,000 are available for new and improved nature-based tourism products and experiences in or near a national park, reserve, wilderness protection area or marine park.
Examples of projects that could attract funding include equipment for experiences such as snorkelling, kayaking, cultural tours and wildlife viewing, and ‘pop up’ activities in national parks. Projects that are on land adjacent to parks could also include new or refurbished off-grid accommodation and infrastructure such as toilets or solar power generation.
Sole traders, not-for-profit organisations and community and progress associations can apply for funding under two streams:
Stream 1 – Grants from $10,000 to $20,000 to support quick activation projects.
Stream 2 – Grants from $20,001 to $50,000 to support bigger projects which may have a higher cost, longer duration and /or multiple elements.
Applications are now open and close 5pm Friday 16 August 2024.
