Financial relief payments announced for fishery and aquaculture licence holders, marine industry businesses

While naturally occurring, the algal bloom currently affecting South Australia’s coastline has had significant detrimental impact on our environment, communities, and the many businesses reliant on our state’s beaches and oceans.

As part of the support package committed by the South Australian and Australian Governments to help mitigate the harm of this ongoing event, financial support programs are available for eligible businesses, commercial fisheries and aquaculture licence holders experiencing a significant reduction in revenue.
