New program to help SA exporters diversify

South Australian export businesses affected by global disruptions in trade, particularly those in the manufacturing, automotive and automotive parts, machinery sectors, or operating within global supply chains are invited to submit an Expression of Interest for the Export Diversification Program.

The Program supports businesses that are experiencing reduced competitiveness or challenges in markets impacted by global conditions, helping them stabilise, adapt, or diversify their export activity.

The South Australian Government has committed $1 million over two years to deliver the program, with two funding streams available to export businesses:

  • Market Accelerator Grants – up to $50,000 for businesses that exported more than $500,000 to a market facing trade disruptions.
  • Export Advisory Grants – up to $5,000 available to seek external advice on supply chain management, export planning and research, new market entry or third-party advisory services to help businesses maintain exports or diversify markets.

The EOI process will remain open until all funding has been allocated.
