Support for SME manufacturers to adopt new technologies

Looking to cut costs, boost efficiency and stay competitive?

The Manufacturing Technology Adoption Program (MTAP) is helping South Australian manufacturers embrace new technologies that drive productivity and open doors to global markets.

Small and medium-sized businesses can apply for up to $50,000 in matched funding to adopt innovative technologies such as AI, machine learning and data analytics, blockchain, augmented and virtual reality, additive manufacturing and the Industrial Internet of Things.

MTAP is funded through the Department for State Development’s Research and Innovation Fund, with Round 2 applications now open until 29 September 2025.
