Women in Business – Cargo Catering Co

Chelsea Johnson is the Managing Director of Cargo Catering Co and the Jackson Square events venue in Adelaide.

Through the company, Chelsea and her sisters provide events for all occasions including weddings, birthdays, product launches and corporate events.

With a long history in hospitality and eight years behind Cargo Catering Co, Chelsea felt she needed some support to take her business to the next level.

Chelsea says through the Women in Business Advisory Program, she has found a new community of women who she now proudly calls friends and a business support network.

“I joined the Women in Business Program to elevate my skills; I knew that there was a way I could improve,” she said.

“There were certain aspects of my business that I wasn’t quite nailing, and I really wanted to step up to the next level and take my business with me.

With support from the Women in Business program, Chelsea has been able to implement some of the skills she has learnt during the program immediately into her business and says the knowledge has made an invaluable difference to both her and her business.

“My advice for people considering the Women in Business program is to absolutely do it. I have gotten so much from this. It’s been amazing.”
