Women in Business – Sarah Drogemuller, Paracombe Wines

Sarah Drogemuller has worked at her family’s business Paracombe Wines for the past two years, having previously worked in hospitality interstate.

Growing up at the winery, Sarah has an eye for good hospitality and the ins and outs of the viticulture industry. Paracombe Wines makes everything on site, from growing the grapes to making the wine, but also labelling bottles, distributing and selling through their cellar door.

While Sarah and her team all have individual roles, they’re encouraged to work across many different functions to fully immerse themselves in the business. So she handles sales domestically and internationally, manages all of Paracombe Wines’ events, and oversees marketing.

Sarah joined the Women in Business Program looking to make new contacts and build her network, and along the way she’s created genuine friendships with other business owners and like-minded women. She’s even found business success through these relationships, hosting events with them and supplying Paracombe Wines to their businesses.
