If your business continues to be impacted by the algal bloom and you have experienced an eligible business impact such as a 30% decline in turnover or catch over another new three-month period, you may be eligible for a second $100,000 grant payment.
To complete your application, you’ll need to provide evidence of that impact in another or different three-month period – for example, your lodged Business Activity Statement (BAS) showing a decline in turnover over an additional three-month period between 1 April 2025 to 28 February 2026.
Once your first payment is approved and you meet the criteria for continued impact, you’ll receive an invitation to apply for the second payment.
You may also be eligible for an additional one-off payment of up to $25,000 to help retain employees. The additional payment is $4,000 for each full-time equivalent employee (FTE) up to a maximum of $20,000 and must be spent on employee wages.
If you are eligible for a second grant payment, you will receive a notification on your dashboard when logged into the application portal.
