Power Her Up

Helping South Australian women turn ideas into stronger businesses using creative technology.

Power Her Up supports South Australian women business owners and entrepreneurs to build the skills, confidence and industry connections to innovate, grow and take new ideas further.

Delivered by Women in Creative Technologies, the program combines practical workshops, networking opportunities and industry expertise to help participants apply creative and emerging technologies to real business challenges and opportunities.

Creative technologies can include digital media and content creation, software development, immersive technology, interactive entertainment, screen production and photography.

What do you get?

Participants will build practical skills and connections through:

  • a launch event featuring an expert-led panel
  • two technology capability workshops
  • founder meet-ups and networking opportunities with mentors, investors, industry leaders and other women in business
  • a two-day Innovation Design Sprint for selected participants
  • access to the Power Her Up digital platform, including recorded content, resources and networking opportunities.

Participants will build capability across digital business systems, business operations, strategy, pitching, marketing and investment readiness, with opportunities to apply what they learn to real business challenges.

Activities will be delivered in person and online, supporting participation across metropolitan and regional South Australia.

About Women in Creative Technologies

Women in Creative Technologies is a not-for-profit organisation supporting women through professional development, industry connections and entrepreneurial opportunities in creative technology.

Founded by award-winning entrepreneur and creative technologist Onnie Chan, the organisation works to increase opportunities for women to participate, lead and build businesses using technology and innovation.
