Small Business Commission SA

Helping small businesses resolve disputes quickly and fairly

Running a small business comes with many responsibilities, and sometimes disputes can arise with another business including state or local government.

The Small Business Commission SA (SBC) provides a range of services and support to South Australian small businesses.

The SBC can:

  • facilitate alternative dispute resolution processes between small businesses, and between small business and state or local government
  • advocate on behalf of the small business community, or a section of it, regarding collective issues
  • collaborate with stakeholders and engage with small businesses to provide information and guidance
  • Regulate by administering and enforcing of legislative powers and responsibilities assigned to the Small Business Commissioner.
