A new campaign to 'Buy SA at the bar' this summer

A new Buy SA. For SA. campaign has launched to encourage people to choose South Australian-made beer and spirits when they’re out at the bar, restaurant or bottle-o this summer, helping support the thousands of local jobs created by independent brewers and distillers.

Developed in collaboration with Independent Brewers Australia and Distillers SA, the campaign shines a light on the economic and community benefits of backing local producers.

South Australia’s independent brewing and distilling sector is one of the fastest-growing in the country.

The state now has more than 100 distilleries (up from just 10 in 2013), employing around 600 people, with jobs projected to grow to 2300 by 2031.

SA is also home to more than 80 independent breweries, contributing around $120 million to the state economy each year and supporting over 2,000 jobs.
