COVID-19 business restrictions ease

South Australia businesses must now adhere to Level 2: Low restrictions

As of yesterday, Thursday 5 August, some businesses are able to operate under more relaxed COVID-19 restrictions.

Licensed venues may accommodate up to 50 per cent of their capacity (one person per two square metres), however, customers must still be seated while eating and drinking. Singing, dancing and shisha remain banned.

Gyms can operate with one person per four square metres, and community sports will also resume, with limits on the number of spectators allowed.

Home gatherings remain capped at 10 people, and up to 50 people are allowed at both weddings and funerals.
