With the growing importance of sustainability and increasing cost pressures, how ready are you to adapt and position your business for success in a net-zero carbon future?
The Office for Small and Family Business, in partnership with local sustainability consultants 2XE, is hosting a targeted sustainability workshop especially for small and family-owned businesses in manufacturing.
By attending the workshop on Thursday 24 October, you will gain:
- Practical insights on how to implement sustainability initiatives that drive cost savings.
- A deeper understanding of emissions reduction options specific to manufacturing operations, such as energy-efficient machinery, waste reduction, and renewable energy sources.
- Tools and resources to better access and interpret data relevant to emissions and resource efficiency in your business.
Following the workshop, participants will have the chance for one-on-one consultations with sustainability experts to review their current practices, discuss specific technologies and identify improvement opportunities tailored to your manufacturing processes.
You’ll also learn more about the Small Business Energy Efficiency Grants Program, which provides matched funding of between $2,500 and $50,000 to help businesses upgrade to more energy efficient equipment.
