Improving access to capital for women in business

Women entrepreneurs in South Australia will have greater access to early-stage funding and business support, with the Fearless Innovator Grant Program extended until 2027 as part of the $7 million Women in Business Program.

Delivered in partnership with Women in Innovation and the Fearless Females Network, the Fearless Innovator Grant Program supports women-led businesses to access capital and build the networks needed to grow and scale.

Since launching in 2024, the program has attracted more than 300 applications across two funding rounds, providing $220,000 in grants to nine female founders.

The Fearless Innovator Grant Program forms part of the broader Women in Business Program, a flagship initiative under South Australia’s Small Business Strategy 2023-2030. More than 4,400 women have been supported through Women in Business initiatives to date, including foundations programs, advisory support and networking opportunities.
