A message from the Minister for Small and Family Business Andrea Michaels MP

A year ago, I proudly opened the Office for Small and Family Business – a new front door to South Australian Government services, programs and resources for business owners in South Australia.

It was clear to me upon coming into Government that there was a lack of dedicated services and programs for small and family business owners, and confusion about who to contact to access support to grow or when times are tough.

That’s why one of my first priorities was to establish the Office for Small and Family Business (OSFB) to act as your front door to government services.

Almost immediately, the Office undertook a state-wide engagement, which led to the development of South Australia’s Small Business Strategy 2023-2030.

Within the Strategy are 20 accessible initiatives that will give you the practical support you need as business owners.
