Supporting the mental health of your employees

Supporting the mental health of your employees

RU Ok? Day has been a fixture on the Australian calendar for the past 15 years, inspiring everyone to reach out to a friend or colleague, build a supportive workplace culture, and help save lives.

R U OK? Day should prompt every business owner to check in on their own progress towards mental health goals and ask themselves important questions such as:

  • How are we reducing risk?
  • How are we creating a culture of care?
  • How are we protecting employees and nurturing good mental health 365 days a year?

During mental health month in October, Mindarma will run a 10-day challenge to support learners in completing the program’s ten short sessions.

The webinars are part of Mindarma’s year-round calendar of events, featuring leading expert speakers on a wide range of mental health topics, including sleep, nutrition, financial wellbeing and digital stress.

Free subscriptions to Mindarma are available for all small and family business owners and their employees through the Mental Health and Wellbeing Program. Ensuring your whole team has access to Mindarma is a great way to provide effective, evidence-based support to employees year-round.
