Forty of South Australia’s top female entrepreneurs have received scholarships under round three of the Government of South Australia’s Women in Business Advisory Program, delivered by behind closed doors.
Representing diverse industries across metropolitan and regional SA – including not-for-profit, retail, professional services, health, events, HR, and hospitality – these women lead early-stage, high-growth businesses.
This year, the program introduced a fully funded First Nations entrepreneurs’ stream, supporting seven First Nations businesswomen to enhance growth, efficiency, and sustainability.
Nearly a quarter of participants come from rural and regional areas, including Nuriootpa, Mount Gambier, Goolwa, Ashbourne, and Lower Hermitage.
Surveys by behind closed doors found that 44% of respondents reported revenue growth of up to 10% during the program. Participants also cited AI adoption, client growth, service expansion, and streamlined operations as key achievements.
