About Women in Business

Women in business face different and additional barriers than their male counterparts, which potentially impacts the number of women who choose to start their own businesses.

The Women in Business Program is tailored to the specific challenges women face in starting, operating and growing businesses.

The program will be delivered over four years and will consist of two key elements.

The WiB Foundations Program

The Women in Business Foundation Program will deliver capability and skills development for women in the formative stages of their business journey, including but not limited to:

  • building business management skills
  • finance and accounting literacy
  • human resources
  • business planning and growth strategies
  • digital marketing and sales
  • cyber security preparation
  • strategies to secure finance for growth.

The program will be delivered by Adelaide Business Hub, which has an extensive track record in delivering business incubation, skills and growth programs for more than 6,000 businesses across South Australia.
