New hub to guide small businesses through the industrial relations landscape

Changes to industrial relations laws can have significant impacts right across the workplace relations system, changing rules and responsibilities for employers and employees.

As small business owners, it’s crucial that you understand which changes will impact you, when they come into effect, and what you need to do now to ensure you’re meeting your employer obligations and responsibilities.

Small Business Peak, an initiative of the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia (COSBOA), brings together all this information in one place to help you navigate changes that have already been introduced, as well as upcoming changes. Importantly, they’ve deciphered the legal jargon so you don’t have to, presenting concise, easy-to-understand information specifically designed to make compliance as straightforward as possible.

Small Business Peak includes:

  • free resources such as information sheets, timelines and in-depth explanations of changing industrial relations legislation
  • a Canva tool to customise materials to suit their brand and industry
  • practical case studies on how the changes apply using easy-to-follow scenarios
  • an AI-powered chatbot to answer questions about the latest changes.
