Essential psychological skills for small businesses

South Australian small businesses owners and their employees are invited to take part in a free webinar event on Thursday, 5 December featuring leading researcher and Mindarma Principal Psychologist, Dr Sadhbh Joyce.

The event will explore the science of self-care and outline the daily practices and psychological skills that can play an important role in protecting mental health. Business owners will find out how they can manage their own stressors and discover how they can proactively support their teams. Participants can also ask questions through a live Q&A.

“If you are feeling the strain from a long year, this is the perfect opportunity to take some time out for what matters most,” says Dr Joyce.

“We look forward to sharing insights with small businesses from across Australia and providing some very practical tips.”

In addition to the webinar, all South Australian small business owners and their employees are now able to access a range of free resources from Mindarma. Customised for South Australian small and family businesses, the evidence-based e-learning program enhances psychological resilience and healthy coping.

Hundreds of helpful resources are also available on Mindarma’s Brain Food platform. The expert-curated platform provides insights on a range of mental health topics, with articles, videos, podcasts, guided mindfulness audio tracks, research, book recommendations, and more.
