From Monday 29 April to Friday 3 May, small businesses across South Australia can participate in a series of workshops, webinars, tours and networking events that will support growth and development.
The program includes events in metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia, in the Adelaide Hills, Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Ceduna, Berri and Kangaroo Island.
If you run or work in one of South Australia's 155,000 small businesses, Small Business Week is your opportunity to connect with others, learn from the experts and be inspired to take your business to the next level.
A highlight of the week is the free Small Business Expo at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Thursday, 2 May.
The morning session includes a keynote address from renowned financial journalist Alan Kohler AM, and workshops and panel discussions covering topics such as cashflow, recruitment, and mental health and wellbeing.
The afternoon session includes tailored advice and referrals to appropriate supports and services through the SA Small Business Commissioner’s Gov to You initiative and further sessions on sustainability, licencing and exporting.
Gov to You connects business owners with representatives from across a wide range of government agencies, industry associations and partner organisations in one convenient location.
If you’re unable to attend an in-person event, you can access a range of content on-demand videos, podcasts, tools and resources offering thought leadership, business insights, and commentary on global economic trends.
Small Business Week 2024 is an initiative of the Office for Small and Family Business, held in partnership with the Commissioner for Consumer and Business Services, the Small Business Commissioner and the Office of the Industry Advocate.
